We had a great time at our shower in Spring this weekend. It was hosted by Lance's good friend/college roommate/best man, Bryan, and his wonderful wife Abby as well as Bryan's parents/Lance's honorary parents, Sabra & David. They are amazing to have pulled this off. Within the last couple of weeks, David's mom broke her pelvic ring and has been in the hospital/rehab and their youngest son, Kyle, and his wife, Ashley, just welcomed their first baby, Luke Alan, on Wednesday! They are so wonderful to have hosted this shower for us and we really appreciate all they did. We had plenty of wonderful snacks, yummy lasagna, salad and garlic bread for dinner, and a delicious cake for dessert. We are so fortunate to have such wonderful friends and family. Bryan, Lance & Brad were roomies in college. Lance and Bryan lived together in the dorm and then moved into the "Heatherwood" house (that was the street name) with Brad and a variety of other roomies, most notably, Justin. We missed seeing you, J! (Justin is in the Army and he and his wife, Sarah, currently live in Minnesota) These guys are the best!

Our sweet friends, Kevin and Michelle, are expecting a little girl, Avery, in April. We weren't able to go to their shower last weekend, so they were opening some presents too! We're so excited for Avery and Blake to get here so they can be buds. Sabra really wants Avery to marry one of the Talkington boys (Kyle & Ashley's new baby, Luke, or the little one that Bryan and Abby are expecting) but I say Blake's going to give them a run for their money!
