Canton

Mom and I went to Canton this past weekend. Mom came out and spent the night Friday night so we could get up and leave early Saturday morning. We left my house around 8:00 and got to Canton around 11 a.m. We had a very productive day. Most importantly, we got to enjoy a yummy corn dog AND a funnel cake before we left! :) <---You know that's a pregnant girl talking now. Seriously though, it was a wonderful day. The weather was perfect and we were able to get a lot accomplished. I was able to find some great gifts to give the hostesses of my showers and mom bought wrapping paper, some cute things for Blake and a super cute diaper bag for me! We shopped all day and then drove home. We got back to my house around 10p.m. We were exhausted! * My super cute diaper bag!

I talked to Lance on our way home. I asked him how his day was and what all he was able to get done. I knew he wanted to work on Blake's room but also had over 40 boxes of inventory to check in at storage and stuff to do around the house. He told me what all he got done (all at storage and nothing at home) and said he felt like he didn't get much accomplished etc.

When we got home, Lance helped us unload everything from the car and get settled inside. We showed him all of the stuff we bought and he approved of everything. He had ordered pizza so we got a late dinner and then we have this conversation:

Lance: "Are you too tired to go upstairs?"

Me: "Why?"

Lance: "Well, I may not have been an unproductive as I said."

I get super excited and literally run (OK, so maybe it was more of a waddle) up the stairs to find that he has finished caulking all of the molding in Blake's room, has touched up all of the paint, has put the twin bed back in the room (with the new comforter for effect) and has put the crib together!! I was so surprised and excited.
