St. Patrick's Day - 31 weeks

I'm am loving Spring Break! I'm pretty sure my nesting instinct has kicked in (see the picture below of my kitchen!) and I have been very productive. It started with a weekend trip to College Station to celebrate Brad's birthday! Before we met up with everyone for dinner, we stopped by Ashley Furniture to look at recliners and ended up ordering one! Yay! It should be in around mid-April which will give us time to get things situated before Blake arrives in May.

I spent the day Monday hanging out with Mindy. It was a beautiful day, and I basically drug her around to all of the stores in The Woodlands and Conroe that I needed to go to to get all of my errands done. It was such a fun day! I enjoyed spending time with her and got lots accomplished: finished getting hostess gifts, returned and bought some books at Borders - love that store by the way!, bought Lance some new workout shorts at Kohls, new toothbrush heads at Bed, Bath and Beyond- I have the Sonicare & it's awesome, by the way!, had a wonderful lunch at McKenzie's Burgers in Conroe - had never eaten there, which I hear is a crime if you live in the area. It was awesome!

Yesterday I went to the dentist and got my teeth cleaned. I just love my dentist's office. The receptionist is SO sweet and the hygienist is wonderful too. As much as I hate going to the dentist, they really do try to make it as painless as possible. And, thanks to my new (since my last cleaning) toothbrush, it wasn't as bad this time! I came home and made a list of things to get done. On the agenda: Make a file for all of the baby gear manuals, Mary Kay inventory, thank you notes, fill out census report, call about cord blood, check on Jenna. All was accomplished! Yay!

Today, I have been taking it easy around the house. Again, nesting and trying to get some more things done. My parents came up this afternoon for a little bit and my dad hung up the new valances in the bedrooms upstairs and helped with a couple other little chores. Dad hadn't seen Blake's room since Lance finished it and set up the bed so he got to see it and all of the goodies from the first shower. I have also gotten our cord blood stuff all set up and even set up a registry online where people can go and donate to that for showers and stuff. I think it's pretty cool that they do that.

I guess that's about all that's going on. Even though it's been beautiful I have tried to stay inside as much as possible (yesterday and today, anyway). I'm still trying to get over this sinus & ear infection and all of the pollen blowing in isn't helping. I'm about to go kick back and read for a little while until Lance gets home. I keep telling myself that I need to enjoy these moments of down time before the baby arrives. There won't be many more days like this.

Happy St. Patty's Day everyone!

Here's my 31 week belly shot. I will be 31 wks tomorrow.

This is my St. Patrick's Day t-shirt. I got it on Monday at Target. How funny is that! I thought it was especially hilarious with a pregnant girl wearing it!

One of my very minor clean out moments. I wish I had been documenting them all!
