Blake's Room!

So, in addition to being super excited and surprised I was beyond proud of my wonderful hubby, and I've got to say, a little overwhelmed at the realization that we're having a baby! Lance has worked so hard on Blake's room and it looks wonderful. With each new piece that's finished I can tell that Lance gets more and more excited about Blake's arrival. He is going to be such a great dad.

We spent the next hour or so just sitting in Blake's room looking at the furniture, brainstorming ways to arrange everything, (The arrangement in the pictures below is different than the way Lance had it when I got home. I forgot to take pictures before we started moving the furniture around.) and just generally soaking in the fact he will be here in just 12 short weeks (give or take a few days).

This was definitely a moment that I will never forget!

Blake's crib! I had to empty out the dresser so Lance can get it ready to be painted.

The chest of drawers is going to be painted white. We're (Lance is) also going to be painting a dresser that we will use as a changing table.

It's coming along...

This is Bentley's favorite place to be right now. I think he's going to be a bit protective of his little brother when he arrives. I don't think we'll have to worry about anyone messing with Blake!
