I made it!

Well, I made it through the first week of school and I have to say, I feel like we never left. It's been a great week. Leslie and I think we have a great group of kids this year. They all seem to be really sweet. Of course we have some "characters" and some kids with some very sad home lives, but we both feel like we are exactly where we are supposed to be. What a great feeling! This was Leslie's first week to leave Owen with the babysitter and she has done GREAT! We have a goal this year to leave school as soon as possible. The very first item on our To Do list is Go Home!! I think we'll keep it there all year :)

Now for a little (huge) prayer request: Leslie, Donna and I will be taking our principal certification exam tomorrow afternoon in Huntsville. Needless to say, with the craziness of the first week of school and our complete lack of motivation to study now that we have graduated, we need all the prayers we can get. We certainly do not want to have to pay to take this test again, but I'm fully intending to. We'll see...fingers crossed and lots of prayers going up!
