We went for Blake's 4 month appointment a little late because I needed an afternoon appointment. He did great at the appointment and even learned a new trick: rolling over! Dr. Edralin asked if he was rolling over yet. When I said no he said, "He can. You just haven't taught him yet." He then proceeded to show me up and got Blake to roll over! Who knew I needed to have my video camera with me?! We got the green light to start 'solids', so we'll be having our first green veggie soon. I'm planning on making his food, which I am SUPER excited about. I think we will start with sweet peas, acorn squash and avocado (obviously not at the same time). He got another round of shots (which he hated) and has been a little cranky this weekend since. I'm hoping that we're over that. I haven't gotten much sleep. He has been a bit restless. Blake loves watching football with his daddy, playing in his exercauser, laughing and babbling. He wakes up happy with a big smile on his face and only lately has started fighting sleep a little bit. I think he's afraid he might miss something.
