Ashley, Leslie and Owen met me on our MLK Holiday to help me navigate the crazy world of Babies R Us. We had so much fun registering! I could not have survived without these girls. They made it so much fun for me. I never got overwhelmed and we made some great memories. Thanks, girls :) While we were there, we even ran into Kate with her husband and mom buying last minute things that they needed before Luke's big arrival. After spending the morning and early afternoon at Babies R Us, Leslie, Owen and I headed over to the mall. We had a nice walk over to Which Witch for lunch and then went back to the mall for some shopping and registering at Pottery Barn Kids. It was a full day and Owen was a great sport! Tuesday, I spent the day at the courthouse in Conroe for jury duty. It took forever, but at least I didn't get picked. That night I met up with some of the girls at Wings N More for our monthly 'bunco' night. I always love our 'bunco' nights. It's the only time we get to actually visit and talk about things other than work.
Saturday, Jan.23rd was my 29th birthday. Yes, I have entered the last year of my 20's. I have to say that I have a feeling this is going to be the best one yet! My sweet hubby surprised me with a great Dyson 'hand-held' (I use that term lightly! I think this is the mother of all hand-helds) vacuum. I love it! I met Vanette, Allyson, Ashley and Leslie for lunch at Pie in the Sky for a wonderful birthday lunch complete with yummy sandwich and sweet potato fries! Leslie and I went up to the outlet mall to do some light shopping at the Maternity store and then I headed home. We met my parents, Lance's mom and my brother at Chili's in Conroe for dinner. We had a great time! In true small town Texas style, Lance and I ended the night with a trip to Walmart :) How funny is that?! Does this mean we're officially old? No more nights at Northgate, no more staying out late with friends...I love it!
