Ultrasound

We had our 2nd ultrasound today! It was so fun to see the little bean again. We got to the office a little early so they were able to get us back and out of there pretty quickly. I did exactly what they told me and drank plenty of water so my bladder would be full. You guys know this is never a problem for me! I go to the bathroom about 10 times a day - really! Well, apparently my bladder was too full. The sweet girl who did the ultrasound sent me to the restroom two times to empty my bladder a little so that we could get the baby in the right position to take the measurements she needed. I will get Lance to scan in the picture and post it later. It's amazing to see the baby change. He/She looks more like a human now which is both refreshing and reassuring :) We got to see him/her moving all around. Too cool! After the ultrasound we met with the genetic counselor who said that things looked great in the ultrasound. Then I had blood work. It takes about 7-10 business days to get the results back but all looked well. When we do get the results we'll know the baby's risk for genetic disorders AND the sex! I can't wait :) Right now we have 6 votes for Boy and 6 votes for Girl. What do YOU think? Weigh in and let us know what you think.
