Nothing to say, but TONS going on

I always think of things throughout the day that I want to post on my blog, but by the time I get here...I have NOTHING! I don't have children to write about yet and I figure you all don't want to hear about my dogs all the time. Right now life is super hectic and honestly, a little overwhelming at times. It seems that this half of the school year always flies by. This year it is going extra fast because in addition to teaching, I am finishing up my masters (will be done in July!), awaiting the arrival of several very close friends babies and going to a few weddings. As you know, with weddings and babies come showers and that fills up the weekends fast! As we were sitting at dinner the other night (celebrating the engagement of my sweet friend Erin and her new fiance Billy! - Congrats Guys!) we were saying that this really is the year of major life changes. Within our 'Bunco' group we have three weddings coming up and four babies! Outside of that, one of my best friends is expecting her 2nd baby and I am anxiously awaiting his arrival. In addition to the friends getting married and having babies (all of the above mentioned take place between now and mid-Aug) Lance's sister is getting married in Mexico in April and Lance and I are planning a trip to Las Vegas for Matco's Expo in March. -- I don't know about you, but I'm exhausted just from writing all of that. Right now all I want to be doing is resting (I'm sick!) and cleaning my house, but I have a ridiculous amount of homework looming over me and it's making me want to scream. I feel like I have so many things going on right now and I'm not really doing any of them well. What can you do?! Prioritize, I guess. I'm working on saying no to things, but that is very hard for me to do. My friends are my extended family and the source of a great deal of joy in my life. I NEED to be busy with them, celebrating with them and doing 'girl' stuff. It helps me rebuild my sanity.
