I need a vacation. At some point I lost my mind and agreed to teach our summer TAKS Academy. It started on June 9th and ends July 2nd, and I have to say, July 2nd can't get here fast enough. I had no idea that summer school was going to be this hectic (and that's putting it VERY mildly! ---> Read: Unorganized, frustrating) It has been a very good learning experience. I'll just leave it at that.
Other than surviving summer school and finishing up another class in my masters program, I haven't been doing much yet. I'm really looking forward to doing a whole lot of nothing. I have a book that I've started and would love to finish. It would be great to get to read something other than the lovely lectures and supplemental readings assigned by our professors.
I'm totally counting down until we go to Junction....Yeah for a girls weekend!
