The rest of August
The remainder of August was pretty much a blur. After hanging out with Mindy and Palin, I came home to a sick kiddo. He was sick for most of the week before going back to work, so I had to skip out on a museum play date with Avery & Michelle and Painting with a Twist for Emily's birthday. I was able to make it to Harper's 4th birthday party because my mom was wonderful and came and kept Blake at home so I could go and see the birthday boy. August 15th was my first day back to work. The first week is always full of meetings and trainings. Leslie and I presented on Tuesday, Wednesday was Leslie's birthday, Thursday I took Blake to the doctor for his 15th month check up (stats to follow) and Friday was a work day. We celebrated Terri's birthday a week late and enjoyed getting to see Crystal & Kevin. August 22nd was the first day of school. I know, I'm a dork, but I really do look forward to the first day of school. We have gotten off to a great start. We have great kids this year and are already having so much fun, thanks in large part to the wonderful Keurig coffee maker that Leslie got for her birthday! :)

I just love seeing pics of Blake. I know he is a boy and I should say "handsome", but he is just so beautiful!!! He has grown so much lately and looks more like a boy than a baby. I love the pic of "the face" and yes, you will be seeing it a lot. But he is just so stinkin' cute!
