10 months

I feel like this whole month we have been sick. Ear infection after ear infection, virus/cold, visit to the ER, canceled trip to Burkburnett to see Granny & Grandad...We spent most of Spring Break sleeping which is great since Blake is such a busy-body that he doesn't nap well at daycare. He gets sweeter by the day. He's getting better at walking. He's taken several steps at a time walking from one piece of furniture to the next in our house. He cracks up laughing when someone sneezes or pretends to sneeze. It's super cute. I have a video that I will try to post. He loves to bang things together and make noise any way possible. He claps his hands when you say "Yay!" or start singing Pat-a-Cake. His only word is still da-da, but he's making other sounds (Mmmm, Ba-Ba). I've started making plans for his first birthday. I can't believe it's just around the corner. I can't wait! I am more than ready for summer break to get here. I think Spring Break is really just a tease. It was hard getting back in the swing of things after being with him all week. I can't imagine what mixed emotions August will bring, but for now I'm just enjoying him every second I can. Everything goes in his mouth. This was funny. He was chewing on this airplane. It's one of those that can squirt water. I think he liked it becaues it was blowing air into his mouth when he bit it. Too funny! Always has the letters in his mouth.

He loves to feel the water as it comes out of the spout.

This was the first time he did this! Too funny! He is definitely not afraid of the water.

Walking a little bit

I thought this one was funny. The look on his face says, "Look out! I'm about to pounce on you!"

Always smiling. (P.S. He usually has on clothes around the house. We were on our way to the bath. )

I think he will always make this face at me when I call his name.

He loves to look outside. He loves to be outside, really. I love the weekend mornings because we go out on the back porch or go for a walk and look at the birds. He's fascinated with them.

He loves to crawl up on the end table and read (eat) his books/play with his toys. My dad stopped by on his way home from College Station to see Blake. He loves his Pa and wearing his hat :)

Blake is also a pretty big fan of his daddy! They're such buds. I love watching them play.
