Thank you Lord for Spring Break! I know, I know...I just got back from Vegas, but I still needed a break. Las Vegas was lots of fun. There's never a dull moment in Sin City. We were pretty low-key during this trip. We only went out and walked around the strip one afternoon. Other than that, we stayed at our hotel and were busy with Matco events and relaxing as much as possible. Our game of choice was roulette. We had so much fun playing! Lance did really great this past year in Matco. I'm so proud of him. He was number 79 in the company. (He was 141 last year). :)
Since we've been back from Vegas, we have been very busy. We got home late Wednesday night and went back to work Thursday and Friday. My dear friend, Ashley, went into labor Thursday and had her baby boy Friday morning. I was worried that she would have the baby (we didn't know the sex) while I was gone, but Caleb Andrew decided to make his entrance into the world on Friday the 13th :) I cannot wait to see him again. He is SO cute! and I am so proud of Ashley. She worked through contractions all day Thursday, drove herself to her doctor's appointment and then gave birth to a 9lb. baby with NO drugs. She's amazing!
Saturday was my friends, Lance and Trudi's, wedding. Lance's dad married them. They're ceremony was beautiful :) After the ceremony was over, I was only able to hang out for a little bit and then I ran to Kingwood for a baby shower for my friend, Courtney. Courtney is expecting her first bundle, a boy, next month. She has been living in California, so it was nice to see her and get to catch up.
Rachel and Harry were in town to visit his family, so Rachel came by the shower to see everyone. It was so good to see her and get a quick hug. AnnMarie was sick, so they couldn't stay long. We decided that the quick visits just aren't going to cut it, so we're planning a little 30th birthday vacay for next summer :)
Today, I have been working on homework and cleaning my house. It's time for spring cleaning!
The rest of the week is already filling up with lunch dates, shopping, visiting with friends etc. Stay tuned :)
